I love the communications game because it’s where art meets commerce to drive results. Having worked in some of Australia’s most awarded agencies, I know the importance that energy, enthusiasm and experience can bring to a brand and to an agency like Enigma.
I have seen creativity exponentially help businesses gain bottom line advantage over their competitors by developing a great idea, or exploring the true meaning of a brand.
In addition to my role as Executive Director at Enigma, I sit on the External Advisory Board, Marketing at the University of Newcastle and am a Non Executive Director of Mercy Services.
My wife, Natalie and I have three amazing kids, three less amazing chooks, a big garden and a wonderful family. In my mind that’s about as good as it gets.
Before we returned to Newcastle, I worked for global agencies JWT and Clemenger BBDO, and I am an alumni of STW’s emerging leaders program and JWT’s global Leaders Circle program.
I am proud of past campaigns like QUIT ‘Last Dance’, Strongbow ‘Hand Picked by Hand’, Carlton Dry ‘Hello Beer’, the Australian Government’s ‘Swap It Don’t Stop It’, Ford’s ‘Go Further’ and Red Energy’s ‘110% Australian’.
I also realised that when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade.
